One of the perks of full-time employment and a regular pay packet is, strangely enough, the ability to splurge on yourself from time-to-time.
That being said I haven’t wasted time in upgrading my old camera backpack (which is literally falling apart) to a new and improved model – the “Lowepro CompuRover AW” which is bigger, is weather proof, has a specialised tripod holder, and even has a padded, secure provision for a 17″ laptop computer (consider it forward planning for when I finally get my hands on a Mac Powerbook Pro), all built into the one pack.

A big thanks must go out to my mate Dave (who I met at the Calgary Stampede last year), for giving me the tip that the bag was going SUPER cheap on that wonderful website eBay. The good folk at “Prodigital 2000” let me pick up the bag for roughly $135.00 USD, down from its regular price of $230 USD – a big saving by anyone’s standards!
I’m a happy camper… now I just need this bloody rain to stop so I can get out and actually give the bag a run…
