After what has seemed like a REALLY long off-season (always does when the Canucks don’t make the playoffs in the previous season), the new 2008/09 NHL season kicked off last week with the Canucks taking on the Calgary Flames in a physical 2-game home and away series where the boys pulled off a couple of BIG wins (6-0) and (5-4 OT).
Any NHL season is always that little bit more exciting and you tend to get more involved when you enter into a Hockey Pool. This year, I jumped on board with the pool run by TJ’s hockey team – The Dirty Whalers. Now that the season is nearly one week down, I thought I’d check out the pool ladder and… waddya know, the little clueless Aussie is sitting pretty in second spot. Yes, SECOND!
