I received an email from a friend back home in Australia recently about the quality of the fishing up here in British Columbia.
Well it goes without saying that it’s pretty amazing, but I do happen to have a few happy snaps from my mate Chris’ recent fishing trip launching out of a little place called Kilby, a few hours east of Vancouver.
Heading into a quality fishing spot where the Fraser and Harrison rivers meet, Chris was fortunate enough to experience what can only be considered a once in a lifetime thrill – hooking a 7-foot, 200+ pound white sturgeon which he was able to actually drag into the boat long enough to grab a few happy snaps. I’m no expert when it comes to fishing up here, or anywhere on the planet for that matter, but I’m pretty confident when I say, “She’s a little ripper!”.
Congrats Chris!
