Imagine being selected to take a spot on Canada’s “Globe and Mail” editorial team as a guest photographer for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver next February!
Well this opportunity is now real and up for grabs and I WANT IT! But I’m going to need the help of all of my Canadian friends out there.
A week or so ago, I was required to submit a photo-journalistic series of five photos capturing the action, emotion and passion of a sporting event, to the Globe & Mail Journalism Dream Contest website. Having done so, the popular voting process has now begun and I need the help of anyone and everyone I know, and everyone you know to VOTE and help me win this contest.
The contest website doesn’t really do my submitted shots justice with the size they are presented in, so please check out the selection of images in a larger format below.
Unfortunately, like most online voting systems, you are required to fill out a small registration process in order to be eligible to vote (and you have to be able to supply a Canadian address), but once you’ve jumped that hurdle, you are free to VOTE FOR ME DAILY! Here’s the URL you will need:
