Every now and then I come across the work of an artist that really catches my eye and it only makes sense to share my findings with all of my “arty” readers (I know there’s more than a handful of you out there).
My recent discovery is a damn talented young Italian fella by the name of Jonathan Calugi. A master of illustrative pattern, Jonathon describes his style as, “…quirky child-like doodles with clean minimal lines and simple, uncomplicated colours.” I honestly couldn’t have put it any better myself.
As illustrated above, Jonathon expertly creates visual pieces that your eye eagerly explores and interprets.
