At exactly 4pm this afternoon, something like 280+ “undead” rose from the ground at Vancouver’s Roundhouse Community Center as part of “Thrill The World” – an annual, worldwide, simultaneous “Thriller” dance for world records and charity.
Raising money for Vancouver’s Food Bank ($3,000 was raised last year), the enthusiastic, ghoulish participants of all ages sporting a massive cross-section of torn, bloodied costumes, shrugged off a little light rain to dance their way through Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in a choreographed performance that they had reportedly been working on since the start of the Fall.
My congrats go out to everyone involved. It was a pretty slick event! “Bloody” great actually!
