INXS Rockstar Party

Once I had the last room viewings out of the way tonight, Dan returned home with a few of his mates (Lisa, Sarah, Gemma and Macca) in readiness for the big INXS Rockstar live performances. With a few hours up our sleeves, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful balmy evening and head to the beach to watch the sunset and to grab some tucker before the show started.

We only just made it down to English Bay in time to see the sun slip behind the mountains over North Vancouver way and grab a couple of photos. We then headed back up to Mr Pickwick's on Denman for some pretty awesome fish and chips cooked by Mr Pickwick himself! We all felt very lucky indeed. I don't think the little shop knew what hit them when we all arrived - 2 Aussies, 1 Kiwi and 3 Poms. No wonder they appeared to be hiding the grog as soon as we walked in! Ha, ha!

The meal was great and the company fantastic which was lucky because the actual performances tonight were pretty ordinary all around. I'm not sure anyone with the excpetion of Susie put in any decent performances. In particular, Jordis dived spectacularly which was both surprising and devastating. I certainly hope she doesn't get dropped given that one mediocre song.

Guess we'll find out tomorrow night...
