Facebook: Vancouver Canucks Theme

If you're a Facebook user and consider yourself a true fan of the best hockey team on the planet - the Vancouver Canucks, then you'll possibly want to get your hands on my latest little creative side-project. I mean why not paint the one site you visit religiously every day with your team colours?

If, as a Flock or Firefox user, you managed to successfully add the "Online Friend List" I covered in my last post, then you'll find the installation process of this theme user script an absolute cinch.

If you're starting from scratch, here's what you need to do:

STEP 1: Get Flock or Firefox

This is a mandatory step and a pretty intelligent one if you're one of these slaves to the awful IE browser. Download and install the latest version of Flock (recommended for Facebook users) or get your hands on the latest release of the mighty Firefox.

STEP 2: Install the Greasemonkey Add-On

Get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

STEP 3: Install the "Online Friend List" user script

Click on the grey "Install this script" button at the top right of this page: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/23261.

It's as easy as that. Next time you log onto your Facebook account, the "Vancouver Canucks Theme" will appear in all its Blue and Green glory.

And remember, this is a browser specific theme. Only you will see the theme on your Facebook account.

By the way, while I think of it, I built the "Online Friend List" (slightly tweaked to improve it's appearance) into this theme, so if you have the user script I covered in my last post installed, the list will appear twice.

Simply uninstall the user script from yesterday, and just run with the Canucks theme.
