Vancouver St Patrick's Day Parade 2008

Quick entry to share with you some of the images I shot during the St Patrick's Day Parade which wound its way through the middle of down town Vancouver today.

Drawing a big turnout despite the chilly, overcast conditions, an assortment of Canadian-Irish and wanna-be-Irish revelers donned their shamrocks and green threads in a street celebration of all things from the Emerald Isle.

I managed about 3 hours on my feet before my back told me to move on... but I was an extremely good boy and resisted the urge to indulge in a pint of Guinness till tomorrow when Renee and Chris are here. More about that tomorrow...
