Untoons: Clever, Quirky Photoshop Art

Ok, so this is VERY clever, but more than just a little creepy.
There's a craze going around the online artist community right now which involves the process of creating lifelike cartoon characters. These reality cartoons, or "untoons" involve applying 3D lighting and shading techniques as well as the application of textures, skin or otherwise, to create lifelike versions of our favourite hand drawn characters.
I did a little scratching around the web and I think it's fairly obvious that the artist responsible for the site "Pixeloo" is the most talented "untooner" out there right now. His recent release of his "Stewie" image (see gallery) is yet another in his stable of clever conversions following the likes of Homer Simpson, Super Mario and Jessica Rabbit.
While not quite as impressive, there's also a gallery of reality cartoons over at Worth1000.com that are worth checking out too.
