Squamish River Camping

While this past weekend's awesome camping trip on the banks of the Squamish River wasn't originally scheduled as part of my "Summer of Love" agenda, I was more than happy (obviously) to accept an invitation by my mate Jamey to join him in celebrating his 29th birthday in the most relaxing way possible.

I would love nothing more than to share with you the location of our super roomy, super sandy, super stunning campsite, but "Paradise" as it has been dubbed by Pete who originally found the large stretch of sandy river beach, will remain locked away in my gnogg'n as promised.

What I can do, however, is share with you some photos from the weekend. The captions on the photos in the gallery, which you can access by clicking on the picture above, should tell the story of the weekend from our time in "Paradise" to our stop at the beautiful Alice Lake camp grounds on the way home.

A big personal thanks must go to Jamey and Candy for the invite to spend the weekend with them, to Candy for taking charge of my camera for part of Saturday enabling me to unwind in the river and as always to TJ and Danica for allowing me to tag along with them on the journey to and from Squamish.
