2008 Vancouver Pride Parade

The streets of Vancouver's West End were today lined with hundreds of spectators who had come out on a beautiful morning to celebrate the blue ribbon event on the "Vancouver Gay Pride Week" calendar - the 2008 Pride Parade.

As expected, the parade consisted of a varied array of all things gay, lesbian and rainbow - an interesting mix to be sure. There were dykes on bikes, drag queens, queer clowns, heaps of feathers, body paint, half naked sailors, winged angels and more!
