New US Visa Waiver Requirements

November 1, 2008

I-94W

I guess this is just a quick heads up to any Aussies out there who, like me, have to endure the less-than-desirable process of sorting out Visa waivers every time you enter the US. Whether it proves to be an improvement on the current system (the paper based, green I-94W cards) or not, as of January 2009, Aussies will be required to go online and fill out a similar form AT LEAST 72 hours before their departure. DMB & OAR at The Gorge 2008

September 1, 2008

Me with the lads from O.A.R.

I think it's safe to say that I'm exhausted. The good kind of exhausted though.

In what has become somewhat of an annual tradition for me since I arrived in Canada, I just returned from a weekend across the US border in Washington where I experienced the magical combination of Of A Revolution (O.A.R.) and the incomparable Dave Matthews Band (DMB) play at the legendary "Gorge Ampitheatre" not once, but over three nights in a row! Quick Trip to Tdot

The WestJet jet that carried me from Vancouver

Due to some nimble Internet seat sale purchasing a couple of months ago, I've just spent the past weekend over in chilly Toronto visiting a couple of friends. I actually managed to pick up a set of flights with WestJet for just shy of $500 bones - about what it would normally cost someone to fly to one of the East Coast cities ONE WAY... so needless to say I would have been a moron not to do it. November 17, 2007

Bosh and the sunset

Regular readers of my Blog may have noticed that a new link was added to the top of my site about a week ago titled '08 Summer of Love. It's appearance with lack of linked page behind it, prompted a few curious "please explains", and for those people I am now able to fill you in. Read more

Quick Victoria Visit

October 21, 2007

Well, I've landed safe and sound back in wet and miserable Vancouver. With a few days left up my sleeve before I head back to the grind of gainful employment, I took the opportunity to head over to the Island to catch up with Cole and Jason and hang out with them for a couple of days. Read more
