In a nutshell, Jen LeBlanc and her partner Carlos Meza have decided to pack up their lives and head to South East Asia to travel and document through photography the many stunning regions around the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, and Vietnam. What a dream that would be.

And the reason they are doing this? Jen suggests on their blog “Our Photographic Odyssey”:

“Why not? Life is about living, so you may as well live it the way you want to. Life is about experience and living in the moment. To have the opportunity to live your dreams and not take it would be foolish.”

And Carlos:

“Life is a very important gift that should be fully taken advantage of and that is what I’m trying to do. I think a lot of people here lost their way in life and are living for the wrong reasons. We are meant to be happy and to follow our dreams. I am most happy traveling and embracing the beauty in the world, so I am focusing my energy on being able to do this.”

Also on show during the month are two of my good friends and hugely talented photographers in their own right – Jen LeBlanc and Carlos Meza. Jen and Carlos have their shots hanging on the left hand wall of the cafe including the staircase wall, while my offering is sporadically nailed to the wall on the right hand side of the cafe as you enter from the street.

We therefore invite anyone and everyone down to this great little coffee and roasting house, which incidentally sells amazingly tasty Fair trade coffee, for a bit of a “look-see” and, if anything particularly takes your fancy, a wee bit of a sale!
